You've Got Mail
Invites were dropped off at the Post Office yesterday, which means you'll be getting some exciting mail very soon! Can't wait to see everyone - 2 months from Monday!
Well, Since You’re Already Here…
We’re excited to hear that many of you are using this wedding as an excuse to spend some time in this lovely City we call home. We’ll be tied up with some last minute details, but here are few things we recommend checking out while you’re in town.
Walking
New York is a great walking city – anywhere you go there are new things to see, and places to get lost. Here are some our favorite destinations:
The Highline
Brooklyn Bridge
Hudson River
Drinking
So you’ve walked all over city, but where are headed? If you’re like us, 90% of the time you looking for some place to grab a drink. And since about 95% of our guests are of legal age, we’d like suggest some of our favorite places to enjoy summer cocktail
The Frying Pan
La Bottega
The Standard Beer Garden
Spitzer’s Corner
Shopping
For the best shopping, go off the beaten path. We understand that Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue may draw your initial focus, but take a stroll down Elizabeth Street in Soho, Orchard Street on the Lower East Side, and Bleecker Street through the West Village for some alternate destinations.
Bleecker Street
Elizabeth Street
Orchard Street
Cultur-ing
Sooo, yeah, there are a million and one museums, parks, and theaters to see while you’re here. Some tips:
If you go to the Met, remember it’s pay as you wish - prices are mere suggestion. Also, the roof garden overlooking Central Park is a MUST!
If you see show, maybe go for something unique like Shakespeare in the Park
If you want to sink your teeth into an amazing burger, visit Shake Shack in Madison Square Park
Oh man, there are at least 500,000 other places I’d like to suggest, but think this will have to do.
